  3. Gam-Anon- Offers help to the spouse, family, and close friends of the compulsive gambler

  4. Maryland Alliance for Responsible Gambling - A statewide partnership focused on coordinating and maximizing resources to address problem gambling    

  5. Maryland Voluntary Exclusion Program (VEP)- A program that allows an individual to voluntarily agree to refrain from entering and gambling at all Maryland casinos

  6. Maryland Center of Excellence on Problem Gambling- A program of the University of Maryland School of Medicine that has been established to address gambling problems

  7. NCADD Maryland (National Council on Alcohol and Drug Dependence)- A statewide organization that works to educate and inform state and private decision makers on policies relating to addiction, treatment, and recovery.   

  8. NAMI Maryland (National Alliance on Mental Illness)- The largest grassroots mental health organization that provides advocacy, education, family support and treatment resources for Maryland residents.

  9. National Council on Problem Gambling- NCPG is the national advocate for the problem gambling field, advocating for programs and services to assist problem gamblers and their families. Our efforts to educate Congress and the Federal health agencies focus on the prevention, education, treatment, enforcement and research on gambling and problem gambling. They also disseminate information about and promotes the development of services for those with problem gambling and gambling disorder
